Mahama Unveils 19 Ministries That Will Serve In His Cabinet

The President of The Republic of Ghana HE. John Dramani Mahama has unveiled his proposed cabinet, which comprise 19 ministries in resetting Ghana . This move is part of his campaign promise to run a lean government, reducing the number of ministers and deputy ministers to 60 which he has fulfilled.

Mahama’s proposed cabinet is expected to be more efficient and cost-effective, with some ministries merged to eliminate duplication of functions. The reduction in the number of ministers is also aimed at cutting down on government expenditure.
